How do you guys convince a doctor to put you on Deprenyl or an Alzheimer's drug? What are your experiences with talkng abut this? My prescriber brought up Parkinsonian drugs, but how do I further the dialogue. I am unfamiliar with the side effects and interactions. I take a mood stabilizer, wellbutrin and provigil already. I guess I am wondering about the extent of off-label use. I have been playing the meds game for more than 6 years, and I really want to try what is out there.
I guess my curiosity list is: Aricept [suggested by my prescriber]
Namenda, other aricept type drugs like reminyl,seliginine.I am just clueless about what the actual experience with these drugs is like. I only understand the feeling of stimulants.
