There is NOT only Wellbutrin SR makes 'Ringing Ears,' ... also, ... in my recollection, when I started on Lithium, there was 'Ringing Ears' problem, not as significant as on W.B. Then, in my guess, those psycho.-med. working GOOD on the chemicals of your brain, ... but in turn, it might have 'too much' activating effects on the nerves, as there are many 'nervous systems' inside ears(but, I can NOT be sure, because some of anatomy/physiology in my study, I just NOT able to remember so clearly now, ...).
Anyhow, this, 'ringing ears' seems to have relation to 'nervous systems' or 'muscular system' surrounding the region where the 'ringing' originates.
Sorry, ... not able to explain about this as I want to. It sounds like ending up a lot of guessing work, but some are true from my study- days.
