In reply to Desoxyn - do US pdocs still prescribe it?, posted by jerrympls on February 17, 2004, at 21:36:30
Methamphetamine rarely is ever prescribed mainly because its the substance that you can go and get at you friendly local drug dealer, and it is notorious for abuse. It's proven that methamphetamine is abused more than regular amphetamine, because it produces greater effects - such as greater euphoria. I really dont think desoxyn has ever been on a doc's goood side, becuase of its maximum abuse potential. Only in RARE cases will doc's use it, like if you've failed everything. If desoxyn is the only thing that works for you, take my advice and Be WISE, its tempting to tkae more that what your supposed to, even if you ADHD. Belive me, because i used to take it.
