> Hi, im starting wellbutrin in a couple weeks after i visit my pdoc. Im taking it both for ADHD and depression. I take adderall, which is amphetamine and helps alot in concentrating, but im switching too wellbutrin. Does anyone have any experices with how it makes you feel? - ive read at doses 400 mg and higher causes mild Amphetamine-like stimulatory. Adderall gives me a feeling of well-being and motivation, i was just wondering if wellbutirn would do the same? Any feed back is appreiciated. Thanks

IME, Wellbutrin was motivativing, but did not have a "high" feeling like amphetamine. It also was quite good at increasing anxiety levels.

Nomfensimine (Merital), a dopamine reuptake inhibitor, was much better at making you feel good and helped with social phobia too.

The FDA banned it in 1985 :(
