Hi Panicman,

If you go to lexapro.com "increased sweating" is listed as one of the side effects of lex. Night sweats are not uncommon on this med. I've gotten them. I'm taking lex for panic/depression and it terrified me the first time I woke up covered in sweat. Many people have been through it so you're definately not crazy.

PS For Lepus - I haven't tried to get off lex, but it's something I've discussed with my pdoc. He says it is VERY important to taper off gradually because you can go through withdrawl if you stop suddenly. You might try going down to 15 mg for 2 wks, then 10 mg and see how you feel.
