Umm, I wouldn't worry about it, just tell him u want to try it, that's all I did.. it's not like ritalin has any more abuse potential than amphetamine. Ritalin helped my inattentive ADD and depression, but then again, so does Adderall. Ritalin also gave me the same kind of "edginess" I get from Wellbutrin, a strange kind of uneasiness that benzos don't do anything for, so I've finally settled on dexedrine spansules.
