Hi Clight,

I have been on lex for 6 weeks now and haven't had any problems like you're describing.

My only thought is that lexapro can be dehydrating, are you drinking plenty of water? If your body is getting rid of fluids quickly, and there isn't a lot of liquid in there it might cause urination to be painful. So, cut back on the caffeine if you're drinking any and start drinking more water. See if alleviates some of your pain.

Has your doc looked in to the possibility of a bladder infection? I wish I could be of more help to you. Hope you feel better soon.
