What I meant is I'm taking 1mg tablets of Xanax XR, one in the morning and one at night, versus taking one 2mg pill once daily. Xaxax XR has a half life of about 12 hours so my doc said it evens it out, 1mg 7:00am and 1mg 7:00pm.
