I had the same problem on the pill. I am now on Depo-Prevara (sp?) the injection. I get a shot every three months. It has not added to depression like the pill at all. I did, however, gain 10 pounds from it. Since Depo effects different hormones and is not messing with my estrogen like the pill, I have found this to be my best bet.
