Lexapro a new med

Posted by Drmyrt on January 13, 2004, at 0:22:53

Good Evening. I have just been given Lexapro, but after reading the above comments, I am not so sure that I really want to try it. I am on Wellbutron and Topomax - the topomax is leaving. Replaced by Lexapro. I have previously been on Efexor (that took forever to adapt - and do not want that kind of experience again. I was briefly on Celexa - but not long - and I did not particularly like it or feel real good about it. THIS medication is suppose to be better.

My concern is the other(heart) meds I am on - Coumadan, Topral, Zocor, Tentral and Nexium. What kind of interaction will they have?

Thanks for your assistance
M.
