I am also taking Lexapro & Wellbutrin for seasonal aff. disorder/depression, so I know that stimulants alone are by no means a "long-term" fix for depression. I was prescribed Adderall when they figured out I had adhd. I was asking if anyone here had experienced major depression while ON a stimulant such as Adderall. Thank-you!

> stims alone are not considered a long term fix. amphetamines require increasingly larger dose to acheive the same effect. anyone taking longterm would need to take drug holidays from time to time to make the same dose work. even then you wont get the eurphoria you felt in the early stages.
> i made the mistake of thinking all i needed for my depression was dexedrine. but stims should be used to augument a base a/d.
