Don't be scared to try it. All SSRI's cause this side effect and from experience, (male currently on Paxil 20mg), Lexapro was worse for me than Paxil. Paxil gave me more arousal and delayed ejaculation which my girlfriend didn't mind. You should at least try it for a month and if the side effect outweighs the benefits of the drug, try something different.
