Obviously, everyone reacts to drugs differently, but I had a similar experience with Lexapro. It helped with my anxiety, the weight loss was great, but it just didn't help my depression. I started on 10mg, then went to 20. Since it wasn't working for the depression, my pdoc put me on Paxil, and later added Wellbutrin. But I'm still depressed and tired all the time, although better than on Lex. I don't know what is finally going to work for me. Good luck finding something that works for you. A lot of people have had great experiences with Lex, I wish I could have been one of them. But after four months, I think you've given it a fair shot.
