I so appreciate your point of view and have given this much thought. Obviously, I am one of those trying to get off Lexapro. To be perfectly honest, I have been taking ADs off and on (mostly on) for 10 years. I am very lucky in that I have not experienced most of the usual side effects. But the one SE I do have is the sexual one. I married my husband many years ago and we had a better than average sex life. But with the AD's I have taken, the inability to reach climax has become -- don't even know the right word - old, unacceptable, annoying, saddening. For the past 10 years I have said "better to feel good and not enjoy sex". Recently, I thought maybe I will feel good without the meds....and then I can enjoy love making the way I used to. So if anyone out there has the answer to the this AD delima, I would love to hear it. I know this is not everyone's problem, but I believe most of us experience it to some degree. Again, any words of wisdom would be appreciated - as I am still taking the meds - just toying with the idea to discontinue. Thanks!
