ZOLOFT and male libido, s*xual function, etc.

Posted by Janelle on November 22, 2003, at 20:46:23

I know that the SSRI's in general are known for what the politically correct term (I suppose) "s*xual side effects" and I've heard from the grapevine that some may be worse than others.

Any of the men out there (or women who have knowledge) know what the deal is with Zoloft?

I know a man who's on it and from what he's told me (we are very close friends), he does not seem to have much of those *male s*xual problems".

However, he seems to think he does and wants to switch off Zoloft (to some other a-d), but the Zoloft is really helping him.

I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it and feel he should stay on Zoloft since he's managing okay in the *male department*.

What do people out there think? Any and all answers greatly appreciated. Thank you.
