Actually I still take a very occassional Klonopin. Just every once in a while I will be awakened in the throws of a full blown panic attack. There is really nothing else I can do so I keep a small bottle of .5 next to my bed.
Re: withdrawal-I guess I am lucky in that I don't seem to have severe effects when stopping most meds. I did have a very rough time when I stopped Paxil cold turkey. This was my first AD. The doc didin't tell me about dc fx & tapering off till I called her freaking out convinced I had totally lost my mind & was dying. One thing I have learned from this board, is how TOTALLY different individual reactions can be to the same drugs.kid
