The only thing I'd add to the other posts is that if you do make the switch, make sure you switch to the corresponding dosage. There are charts at various websites that indicate the equivalent dosages and maybe someone can post it here for you. I'm almost sure that .5 mg. Xanax=25 mg. Klonopin, but you should check this out so you don't wind up going way off your existing dosage.
