Didrex is speed, pure and simple. It's the most closely related of the common diet pills to amphetamine. Taking Didrex to get off Provigil is like using a nuke to kill an ant. You will have a ten fold bigger problem getting of the damn Didrex than you had with Provigil. It is precisely the wrong thing to do. Do a search on "dopamenergics". You will find you don't have a lot of appealing options. If you want to buy a drug that makes Provigil look really rock bottom dirt cheap, try apomorphine. Or just touggh it out...probably a week at most with the first three days being toughest. I just went off 400mg/day of Provigil (ran out of money - damn!)with no depressive side-effects at all. Nothing. I lost the benefits (that included antidepressiant action but nothing akin to euphoria). There is another user in this thread with a different opinion and experience. Everyone reacts differently to a drug. I'll bet it's easier for you than getting off coffee. Best wishes!
