I used Ambien for 10 days straight and by the 7th day, my tolerance had already increased. I was taking another 10-day medication that I couldn't mix with my Trazadone. I'm a firm believer in taking Traz regularly for sleeping problems. It works wonders.
Ambien was great for the first couple of nights. Beware of hallucinations though if somehow you are woken up during the night. My experience was with beautiful colors shimmering on the walls. I just stayed in bed and enjoyed it before I went back to sleep.
