I was on wellbutrin for a year. I did not gain any weight. In fact, I lost 12 pounds when I switched over from Zoloft (which made me gain 15 lbs) I think if you take wellbutrin alone you would see that it does not cause any weight gain at all (At least not for me) The only problem is that it is not quite strong enough, or as strong as ssri's (zoloft, paxil, etc) But I just heard about another new one wellbutrin XL. I think I will try it! Good luck*
