i've had some "akathisia eating" (my term) problems whenever i've taken too high of a dose of seroquel (for me, subjectively). i think if those tendencies start showing then you might want to *try* to mentally associate/train your urges to something not quite so bad for you.

during the summer, i've become quite enamoured of frozen grapes. they're like tiny, fruit popsicles. it's not ice cream, i know; but i find that i crave whatever i fixate upon and the ability to consciously choose a comfort food beforehand to fall back upon *really* helps. good luck to you.
