> Hi folks. Does anyone here know anything about Asperger's? I've read about it, and it's been suggested that I may have a "mild" form of it, but I'm sort of confused as to what it means! It's not a "popular" dx like ADD, especially in adults, so most pdocs don't bring it up, but I'm curious about it. What about treatments -- are there any?

I would like to comment on the use of the word "popular". You say you don't feel Asperger's is as "popular" as ADD. I don't think it's a question of popularity - Asperger's occurs less frequently and the less common a disease or diagnosis is, the less research will be done, the less you will find about it, etc. that's why there's tons and tons of stuff about cardiac problems or cancer and very little (comparatively) about something like Meniere's disease, which is not common.

Also, the use of the word "popular," to me, suggests you may think ADD is a fad. But those of us (me) who have it know this is most certainly not the case.
