Effexor xr Side effects

This is my third day on Effexor XR 37.5. I have really mixed feelings. I have "not really here" parts of my day. I have been taking my pill at 9 pm. I sleep through till about 6am. Feel ok in am but after 1pm I cannot keep a train of thought or really relate to my surroundings. Like I'm observing my surroundings not in them
Will this pass?
Also in the afternoons all food tastes bitter and unedible. I also feel shakey and sweaty.
If anyone has any input please help!!!!!!I'll loose my job if this doesn't pass
