My brain is in a fog right now from overwork, so I'm not very verbal....

One commonly found drug is dextromethorphan (DXM) of cough-syrup fame. Another, if I recall correctly, is ketamine. Again, if I recall correctly, another is tramadol (Ultram).

I don't know how well they work, in this regard, but there is evidence in the medical literature that they do work.

I don't know anything about memantine.
