hi melley:-) I hear you!! On my 4th week of Lexapro~~I still get sleepy when I take it in the AM, but I still get insomnia also. I just increased Lamictal to 50mg at night and last night I slept better without taking an OTC sleeping pill.
A lot of threads here on Lexapro. I hope you find what you're looking for:-)

So far I just feel sleepy and more relaxed. Think the sleepiness must be from the med as I slept for 4 1/2 hours during the day the other day. That is not normal sleepiness. Hope that goes away. Good to find a place to learn more about it. So far, so good.
