Zyprexa / weight gain low doses

I have been taking 20mg of lexapro and my doctor recently added 2.5mg of zyprexa to help with my irratability a rapid mood fluxuation.
I have read that zyprexa often causes substantial weight gain. I am a recovering bulimic and still very concerned about my weight / body image. I feel like I may have gained some weight already (I do not weigh myself); however, the medication has helped a lot with my moods!
I am very worried about the weight gain potential. Anyone who has been on a low dose who did not have trouble with weight gain?? Any thoughts?? Also, the extreme "munchies" it gives you is not good for someone recovering from bulimia.
Also, does anyone have a suggestion of another drug with mood stabilizing properties that might be better for a person with my history.
