STRATTERA IS NOT WORKING!!!! My 8 year old son started taking it 4 DAYS ago...he started with a sample pack of 18 mg...after the 4 days he was supposed to begin a higher dose of 25mg. He is 55 pounds. He has began throwing MAJOR fits (he kicked me in the face today when I was trying to get him in the car to take him home). Over the past 2 days, he has begun bucking authority and his grandmother has mentioned that he has talked about doing bodily harm to himself. I REPEAT: HE IS EIGHT YEARS OLD!!! I feel really stupid cause our doctor did not advise that we begin giving this medicine to him because he said that it's NOT WORKING!!! Eli Lilly has all these wonderful, hope-giving commercials for this drug and they absolve themselves by saying it MAY cause mood swings or other side effects, apparently the children in the commercials never told anyone they wanted to die. IF YOUR CHILD IS TAKING THIS DRUG AND HAS BEGUN EXHIBITING STRANGE BEHAVIOUR, PLEASE CONTACT ME!!!! @ sweetpeathreeo@yahoo.com
