Hi this is my first post and I'm wondering if anyone has info on "MANERIX" or moclobemide,a RIMA used for depression.I've been on effexor xr for about 2 years and was feeling that it wasn't working for me anymore despite trying to up the dosage.The maximum that I could take was 112.5 without side effects.My doc decided to try me on Manerix,and after going down slowly from the effexor and still feeling really bad for the last 5 days without anything,I'm pleased to say that after only taking 1 dose of the Manerix today I feel 75% better tonite.The zinging and dizziness is almost gone, and my general mood is lifted.I too gained about 20 pounds in the last 2 years,which only worsened my feelings of depression and self worth,so I'm hoping that this new med does not have similar side effects.Any feedback would be much appreciated.Thanks!
