Same here. The emotions I lost were anxiety, irritablility and some of the depression. Those states stood in the way of being 'happy and loving' for as long as I can remember.I don't know if the side effects of 'lost emotion' hamper my efforts to improve my life, but without Effexor, I failed to improve it at all.

So, sometimes I worry that I won't get to a good place, and that the same drugs that give me a chance at doing so will keep me from getting there. Since starting Effexor, then going off Effexor and back on, and off again and on again, I have come to know that this is, at least, a much better place.
