What a relief to read the posts of all of you who have experienced Lexapro withdrawal side effects. I took it for only 3 mos. It caused my bp/heart rate to go so low I thought I might die (like 30 beats per minute and bp of 84/45). I decided the only cause possible was the Lex, so went from 10 to 5 for three weeks, then dropped off entirely. Now about 7 days off and I am still so dizzy (it's something stranger than dizziness) and confused that I thought I was just NUTS. Am very drug sensitive. Am also experiencing a ringing sound in my head, intermittent muffling in my ears, major mood swings...and fear. Damn. Thanks to all of you who seem to have at least some of these w/drawal symptoms...thanks for sharing. I just pray this is not permanent.
