I'm considering trying a combination of Arsenicum album, Argentum nitricum, Gelsemium sempervirens, and possibly a few others as an adjunct to my current prescription meds and supplements. I've already talked to my pdoc about this, and he seems to think it couldn't hurt. Does anyone have any experience with homeopathic remedies here?
Also, I've been going for electro-acupuncture treatments twice weekly for the past two weeks, and I always leave those appointments feeling so alive and rejuvenated, and the feeling lasts several days. My acupuncturist is also a specialist in Chinese medicine and has me taking a Chinese herbal supplement called Xiao Yao Wan for anxiety (yes, he conferred with my pdoc before placing me on it). I take eight pills (they're very small and round... kind of like BBs) twice daily and have found that they seem to enhance the general health improvements I'm receiving from the acupuncture. I mean, since I started this new therapy I've actually found myself feeling very motivated (I've even begun using my weight system again which has been collecting dust for at least six months). Just FYI, the contents are:
Atractylodis (Atractylodes macrocephala) root
White peony (Paeonia lactiflora pall) root
Tuckahoe (Poria cocos wolf) root
Licorice (Glycyrrhizae uralensis) root
Tang kwei (Angelica sinensis) root
Hare's Ear (Bupleurum scorzoneraefolium) root
Ginger (Zingiber officinale rose) rhizome
Field mint (Mentha haplocalyx) entire plantAny info or experiences with homeopathy or Chinese medicine would be very much appreciated. :-)
