Ive used Klonopin at .5mg for many years now for sleep and have had no problems with it. I was off it for a while and had no withdrawal. My doc says the problems with benzos is that some people keep increasing their doses and get into trouble that way. IMHO, as long as you use it responsibly, as prescribed, it is a great med.
