Babs,

Yes, more klonopin might help. I was placed on Klonopin when I was put on Celexa and I would clench my jaw at night causing grinding teeth and terrible pain. It worked for me then. The current pdoc switched the Klonopin with Neurontin. Mostly the Neurontin works for me too. You may have to augment with Neurontin and the Klonopin if the Klonopin alone does not cut it.

This is just my opinion. Your mileage may vary.

I was on risperdal and had no problems with muscle tension but had to go off it because of elevated prolactin levels. We added 1.75 mg of klonopin to the celexa- I take 1 mg at night, .5 in the morning and .25 around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I'm wondering if upping the afternoon klonopin dose to a full .5 mg might help the muscle tension and headaches. They're pretty bad. thanks, babs
