Who would have thought there were so many with the same problem? I agree with the note above, keeping your cuticles moisturized helps. I used to keep a dish of olive oil by the sink in my bathroom, and would give my fingers a soak after washing my hands (wiping off the extra on a towel). Also, I had acrylic put over my nails at one point (until the upkeep became too $$$), and when my nails were long and strong, my cuticles were great. Lastly, it's hard to think of our bodies as "temples" or "vehicles" we should care for when tearing is so tempting ... but perhaps this will help. Good luck!
