Thanks Janelle, your response is appreciated. I'm glad that Celexa is working for you. My doctor says that he has had a lot of sucess with celexa and wanted to put me on it, but my health insurance would not pay for it. As usual, the insurance companies try to control our life by controlling our health by telling us what meds we can and can not take, but that's another sore spot with me and I am not going to go there.

I'm sorry you had so much trouble with Effexor XR, but as you said, we are all different. I have never experienced hypomania, but from what I have read, it's pretty bad stuff. Although one time my doctor and I decided to try Wellbutrin, and I had such a bad reaction, with severe agitation and anxiety, that I thought I was losing my mind. Not fun.

Anyway, thanks again for your post. I'll keep an eye on my side effect symptoms. Although I need to lose a few pounds, I don't want to end up in worse shape than I already am.
