Thanks for that story Larry. It reminds us all that the responsiblity for treatment rests ultimately with ourselves.

"The only issue before the board was whether Professor Starson was capable of making a decision on the suggested medical treatment. The wisdom of his decision has no bearing on this determination."

I feel compliance issues are very appropriate for this board. I am struggling with this very concern. Do you have any opinion on Risperdal (.25 mg)?
It calms me but I experience a rebound effect if I don't take it continuosly. The rebound is far worse than my normal state so I am tempted to not take it at all. Any thoughts?

p.s. I am also taking Neurontin (400 mg) twice a day.
