What is so interesting is that after a couple of days off of it (and feeling a bit down), I start to feel energetic; just like I started taking it again and have lots of energy – even though I didn’t take anything! I’m wondering if it would be best to take it for a few days and then stop – when symptoms return take it again for a while – stop (repeat)

I've heard this referred to as 'pulsing' a dose. You take it for a few days on, a few off, etc., etc. This might work.
