well, i am sure you can do this in special cases. Only a doctor should decide if such a step is justified in your case. I would not rely on self diagnosis.

But the official drug monograph of milnacipran, section contraindications says:

Do not take with non selective MAO-Inhibitors, selective MAO-B inhibitors, Digitalis and 5-HT1D-Agonists (Sumatriptan...)

It further says it is *not* recommended to coadminister selective MAO-A inhibitors, but can be made under some circumstances.
