This sounds like the thing to do. Decide how many hours a day you need the ADD under control. Divide by 2, and there is your dosing schedule.
Notice if you seem to run out of meds just before
the next dose; if so then 3x a day dosing might work or you may need to up the total dose.For me, I take less in the morning and a bigger dose at lunch, as 12-6 at work is when I get the most done. It took a while to hit on this, I just had to experiment to find what is right for me.
I did not find ADD got worse with age, but my ability to deal with it did so I needed to add more meds (wemt on stims) in my early 30's.
