I'm not depressed on Effexor, but I feel and look auful. I take meds to sleep at night and something for the joint pain during the day (between 6-10 mortrin, advil, or Alieve).

Yes, SE's have all gone away, except mild occassional jaw clenching.Much of the worst of the SE's were gone by 6th week for me, but still didn't feel "BETTER" until 9th week. Had a pretty rough time w/anxiety-depression 4th-5th weeks, that's when DR upped dosage from 5mg to 10mg.
