Today my pharmacist told me that Dextrostat had been discontinued.
She told me because I always ask for the Shire Dex brand rather than the crappy Barr generic dextroamphetamine.
I looked at Shire's web site, but there was no press release covering the discontinuing of Dextrostat. However, the product section did not list Dextrostat, and I know it used to.
Has anyone else heard anything about this?
What other brands of dextroamphetamine are out there? I know only of Dexadrine brand and the Barr generic. I hope these are not the only alternatives.
