Ok. Been on Parnate on and off for about six years now. Works wonderfully for a few months, then poops out (always get up to about 130 mgs; beyond that it does nothing for me). Have attempted to augment the effects (i.e., make them last) with whole host of drugs, from other ADs to several anti-psychotics to stand-alones like Wellbutrin, Neurontin, and Buspar.
Question: Has anyone else had this problem on Parnate (or perhaps another MAOI), and actually found something which has successfully prolonged its' effects? Thanks for any experiences or insight.
