I have had situational panic in the past and what works the best for me is to take 1/2 a tab of Klonopin and 1/2 tab of Benadryl together beforehand. The Benadryl cools out my stomach, dries up extra secretions, slows it down, so my GI tract doesn't end up triggering a cascade of panic responses.
