Period for Remeron's benefits to kick-in?

I have just started using Remeron. I have tried two nites at 15mg and 1 nite at 30mg, and am still quite sedated the following day.
My question is, should I immediately raise my dose up to 45mg nightly to get the "NE" anti-sedative effect, or should I hang in there with 30mg nightly for a week, two weeks, etc.?
