California is one of the few states to post health warnings (in dental offices) regarding amalgam fillings.
I had a molar with an amalgam filling break in March and I have not felt good since then. I'm not sure if it's the anxiety associated with having the tooth fixed or if it's the possible release of mercury every time I chew on that side.
I have a new dentist (as of yesterday) who suggested porcelain fillings. They are outrageously expensive but I would like to at least get SOME of the mercury out of my mouth.
