I had talked to my pdoc in the past about trying Provigil, but he was reluctant because of my frequent migraines. I'm seeing him again Tuesday and would like to ask about it again.

Well I haven't taken Provigil (yet), but I find that pretty much any stimulant or stimulant-like drug gives me a headache - with the exception of caffeine. Particularly if it's a stronger one like Ritalin or Adderall. Effexor used to give me headaches a couple hours after a took it, probably due to the norepinephrine effect. A few aspirin took care of it though.

So... I can't say whether or not Provigil will definitely give you a headache, but it's certainly possible and frequently documented in the literature.
