I have a problem with my Geodon (40 mg/daily). I had originally gone to a psychiatrist for help with my attention span. Okay, so my rap sheet is not that nice. I was promiscuous, bisexual, self-mutilating in my teens, emotionally abused by my father, angry, severly depressed. I am trying here. Well, needless to say, he dx me with BPD. I was in shock. I began to cry. He asked if I agree with this dx. I told him I obviously do not. He prescribed Geodon (40) and Zoloft (which I was on) 150 mg/daily. I asked if this would help my concentration, because I am fixing to lose my job if I do not get on the ball. He said it was everything else in my life that was distracting me. But it is not. I have never really functioned well. I am not angry about the dx. I am angry about not getting the help I needed. I started the meds and have been lost. It takes me a few minutes to figure out what I am doing or where I am going. I am still depressed. I am extremely forgetful. I stay up endless nights to finish my work, and it ends up in a big pile. I NEED HELP! thanks for listening.
