> > Hi - I'm a new member. For months I have had a terrible problem with sleepiness - I can sleep 10 hours at night, and take 1-2 hour naps during the day, and still be always sleepy. I'm getting to the point of being desperate to be alert. I haven't had any changes in medication, or any other physical ailments. I have been taking Wellbutrin SR 400 mg a day for about 2 years. (I did have insomnia when I started the Wellbutrin). Over the years I have been on just about every antidepressant and also Ritalin. When I took Ritalin, I got these bad headaches (it felt like I had on one of those rubber bands they put on broccoli stalks). I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with severe sleepiness, and if they found anything that helped? Thanks very much for any input.

Parnate was nice. I'd get sleepy around the same time, but wake up 5 or 6 hours later, totally refreshed.

With ritalin + effexor, I have a bit of trouble getting to sleep, but I still sleep a fair amount.
