Hi Kristen,

>Right now-my pdoc gave me 50mg Lamictal for 4 weeks-but can't I talk to her about increasing it to 75mg?

Sure you can talk to your pdoc about increasing the dose, but it might be in your best interest to wait until she actually approves the increase before taking it upon yourself to change the dose. She may have good reasons for wanting to ramp the Lamictal up slowly.

>Or do you think I should take seroquel and/or Lamictal as prn in the day?

I recommend taking all of your meds strictly as directed by your pdoc. At your next appointment you can talk to her regarding possible changes. If you continue to monkey with your meds on your own, it will make it more difficult for your pdoc to determine the best course of action.

When is your next appointment? If I were you, I'd definitely tell her about your continued mood swings. I have my own opinion regarding the med cocktail that might best benefit you, but I’ll hold my tongue.
