Hi KrissyP
I'm in the same boat as you are as far as P.M.S.
And I have tried I think just about everything.
Evening Primrose Oil was great for my skin, but did nothing for my P.M.S.
I do find though that a combination of oils containing essential fatty acids do help.
For instance a combination of Borage, Evening primrose and flax seed oil. It takes a long time to feel a difference and its very gradual. Its nothing you'd notice right away.
At the beginning its important to saturate your system with the oils, taking about 3x the amount on the label for the first month and then tapering to the regular amount.
If its something you don't think you'll stick with, or that you can't afford to do on a regular basis there isn't much point.I saw your other question regarding Black Cohosh
I find it pleasantly relaxing, its best taken in a tincture form. Passion Flower tincture works well too for relaxation.
However for P.M.D.D. My symptoms are excruciating anxiety, fear of everything, hopelesness.. I wouldn't say they have come close to curing the situation unfortunately :(
